Apprentice Technician - Bruce Hyundai

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles
• Conduct several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturer’s requirements
• Effectively use hand tools, power tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
• Clock on and off on the work order for each individual service and repair case.
• Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles including required parts and labour
• Constantly communicate with service consultants and/or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
• Comply with H&S responsibilities including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
• Comebacks will be the responsibility of the technician
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• This full-time permanent position offers a competitive pay, and you'll primarily work during regular business hours with occasional Saturday rotations
  

Successful Candidates Possess:

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or Service Station Technician
• Clean Driving Record
• Valid Driver’s License
• Intermediate computer skills
• Stay up-to-date with models, techniques and abilities for automotive repairs
• Ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs as part of your responsibilities.
• The role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in an environment that can be noisy and dusty at times.
