Class 3 Operator (Tcl - Gahcho Kue)

Limited competition for Northwest Territories residents only. Priority is given to Tłı̨chǫ citizens. The point of pick up location for this position is Yellowknife, NT.

Tłı̨chǫ Logistics is 100% Indigenous owned by Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation. We provide Site Services Expertise, Project Management, Maintenance Service, and Labourer Personnel for our clients.

We are currently accepting applications for a Class 3 Operator position located at the Gahcho Kue Mine Site.

Responsibilities:

• Operating the Prill Truck and/or Bulk Truck.
  
• Conducting regular pre and post inspections.
• Maintain equipment to the high level of safety standards.
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Class 3 drivers license with airbrakes.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating water truck, fuel truck, vac truck, bulk truck.
• Safety conscious attitude is a requirement.
  
• Fluency in Tłı̨chǫ considered is an asset.
• Fluency in English required.

This position requires security and medical clearances for the remote camp site. Our client has a requirement that anyone travelling to work at the site must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. You will be required to provide proof of your vaccination status for COVID-19 upon request.

This position requires an individual with proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. Candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required. This is a temporary position working on a rotational schedule in a remote camp site setting; 12-hour days/nights.
