Leo1 Equipment Operator (Tcl - Diavik)
Tłįcho Logistics is currently recruiting for the following full-time position located at the Diavik Diamond Mine Site:
LEO1 (Multi-Equipment Operator)
As part of the Support Services Operations Team, you will be responsible for:
- Operating 622, 930 and 966 Loaders.
- Operating 140H & 16H Graders.
- Operating 349 Excavator.
- Operating 300 Hyster, Rubber Tire Hoe, Tractor Trailers, Roll off Trucks, Cube Vans, Flat Deck and Buses.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Safety orientation and knowledge of airbrakes system.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications (equivalencies will be considered):
- Valid driver's licence.
- Minimum five years equipment experience in a heavy industrial setting, preferably mining or mineral processing.
This position requires an individual with a proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. All candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required.
This full-time position is a remote site based with a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, day shift and night shift, rotational schedule. Please note, successful security and medical clearances are required (confirmed/clear criminal record history, medical and drug & alcohol tests).
