General Labourer (Behchoko)

Tłı̨chǫ Property Management (TPM) is 100% Indigenous owned by Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC).

We are currently recruiting for the following position located in the beautiful community of Behchoko, NT:

General Labourer

Reporting to the Property Manager, the General Labourer will assist with the summer season projects in the community of Behchoko.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Start and complete exterior painting projects.
  
• Assist with removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
  
• Move necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Clean up worksite debris.
• Perform other tasks as delegated by the Property Manager.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Maintain excellent safety standards while ensuring high quality work with efficient completion rates.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience.
• Minimum of Grade 12 education.
• Good communication and effective listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence would be considered an asset.
• Ability to speak/understand the Tlicho language would be considered an asset.
