We are looking for an Underground Millwright to be part of our Underground Fixed Plant Asset Management department. The position is primarily based in the underground mine with shutdown support in the process plant and other fixed plant facilities on site. The maintainer millwright will work a 12 hour shift rotating days and nights.
Reporting to the Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor, The Fixed Plant Millwright is responsible for performing planned and breakdown installation and maintenance to the mechanical equipment in the various fixed plant underground mine in a safe, environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner to ensure that equipment availability is maximized. The key fixed plant areas of responsibility are as follows: All underground pumping and dewatering stations, sump pumps, pump skids, air and water piping, air compressors and misc. underground fixed plant equipment.

Northern residency and experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the North, are assets.
