Operator 1 (Petcare)- $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

Title: Packaging Operator 1

What do we manufacture?

Petfood and pet snacks

Required Shift:

12-hour rotating shift

4 days "on" (2 day shift & 2 night shift) then 4 days off

Hours: Days 7am to 7:30pm / Nights 7pm to 7:30am

The Operator 1 will be a multi-skilled packing associate who is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained while identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 GCSE Grade C or above
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, pulling and pushing heavy loads
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping & climbing
• Ability to effectively read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred Requirements:

• Mechanical background

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

• Maintain excellent packaging line efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate any deviation from standard or plan
• Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards
• Be responsible for the achievement of GMP/GHP
• Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard
• Actively participate in Operational processes that support the improvement of our business performance
• Any ad hoc tasks required of the role
