Education Level: Minimum High School Diploma plus 2-year technician/techology college diploma in electrical engineering or a Certificate of Qualification (442A, 309A, or 447A)
Location(s): Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 3Z8
Shifts(s): Days: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm Friday 7:00am-1:00pm
Travel: Up to 10% - Durham Region

JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the First Line Manager, the Project Technician - Electrical & Controls will be working within the Field Engineering department, which performs duties supporting safe operation of our nuclear facilities while focusing on quality control inspections, work planning assessments, liaising with project stakeholders, supporting contract partners and oversight of field activities.
The role of Project Technician - Electrical & Controls is responsible for checks and tests, drawings and code interpretation, report writing, quality inspections and quantity measurements to ensure assigned systems/facilities are installed and functioning in accordance with design specifications, satisfying the requirements of the applicable Codes and Quality Assurance (QA) program.
