Be our next Intermediate Municipal Engineer!

This opportunity offers a full-time career-oriented position with our growing and dynamic team of water-wastewater and municipal engineering professionals. We are seeking an Intermediate Municipal Engineer to assist our Project Managers to deliver key infrastructure projects for our municipal clients.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Coordinate production of detailed engineering drawings including watermains, sewers, site grading, profile, and section drawings
  • Proactively advance design techniques and procedures to support designers, project managers and technicians.
  • Review proposed construction plans and design calculations on behalf of clients, for compliance with municipal design standards, guidelines and civil engineering standards.
  • Act as a liaison with municipal clients, sub-consultants, approval agencies and contractors.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate plan review meetings with municipal staff to discuss reviews and design standards requirements.
  • Respond to issues and concerns from the public regarding project design matters.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
What your experience looks like
  • Civil Engineering degree from an accredited college or university
  • P.Eng in Ontario or license in progress
  • 5+ years practical experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suits
  • Self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task daily activities
  • Able to meet deadlines, well organized and able to work under pressure
