As a CNC Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our internal machine shop, operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components for the aerospace industry. You will work with precision tools and equipment to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the machining processes. Your expertise in CNC machining will contribute to the production of critical aerospace parts that meet strict quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications and rigorous design parameters
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance and quality of machined parts
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and tooling
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.

Interpret drawings and GD&T requirements
Able to work with minimum supervision in a high paced production environment
Adhere to manufacturing systems and procedures and work with regard to safety of self and others.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• General Machinist Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in an aerospace machine shop
• Strong knowledge of G-code based CNC programs
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
