About the Opportunity

Currently, McGrail Farm Equipment is looking for an enthusiastic Parts Counterperson to join our team in Comber, Ontario on a full-time basis.

As our new Parts Counterperson you will be responsible for selling parts and accessories as well as providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, retail environment. 

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories.
  • Participating in John Deere training courses in order to develop skills and product knowledge. 
  • Supplying Service Technicians with parts as required. 
  • Performing in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. 
  • Acting as on-call support over the weekends on a rotating shift. 
  • Verifying the receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing Machine Down and stock order in their proper inventory locations. 

To qualify for this role, you'll have a technical or agricultural background and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record along with a real passion for excellent customer service. While previous experience in a similar role isn't required it is an asset. 

As our ideal candidate for this role, you'll join us with excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form as well as basic computer skills. Your ability to work well in a team environment combined with your knowledge of farm and turf equipment will ensure your success in this role. Your ability to multi-task and your desire to always learn more and improve yourself will allow you to successfully serve our customers no matter what their request might be. 

Above all, you'll be an enthusiastic person with a real passion for working in the agricultural industry.
