Salary: $34.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Development Officer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within a specified region (North America and LATAM Regions). The Regional Development Officer will represent our company, this also entails enhancing the level of customer care and providing personalized support to our customers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop policies and administer programs to promote commercial business investment.
  • Design market research and conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or national areas to assess development potential and future trends.
  • Plan development projects and co-ordinate activities with representatives of a wide variety of commercial enterprises and business associations and/or government agencies.
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies.
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals and provide advice on procedures and requirements.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale or retail consumers.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for commercial products.
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and/or articles.
  • Plan and develop E-commerce strategies.
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree on industrial engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of work experience in managerial and/or administrative positions. Experience with auto-part sales related experience is a must and experience with product management is an asset.
  • Languages: Speak English, Read English Write English
