AZ Driver - Trailer Driver

Today we have the opportunity as an AZ Driver - Paver/Service/ Dump Truck, based out of our location in Grey-Bruce.

The job of the AZ Driver is to safely and efficiently operate a dump truck with a float or paver & drive service truck with float and maintain an acceptable level of workmanship and productivity.

Major (Primary) Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues;
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture;
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others;
• Be a representative of Walker Industries to customers as a front-line worker.

Qualifications

• AZ License Required
• Experience within the road construction industry.
• Some mechanical knowledge.
• Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements.
