You as a Chief Estimator will:

• Be responsible for pre-construction estimate preparation, budget and guaranteed maximum price submissions as well as design build and stipulated price estimate submissions.
• Create and monitor construction estimates across a variety of technical building projects and delivery methods, including lump sum, construction management and design build with the ability to lead a team in the preparation of estimates for major projects.
• Effectively determine the bid strategies required for the company to be successful as well as plan and coordinate and supervise large projects.
• Responsible for pre-construction estimate preparation, budget and guaranteed maximum price submissions as well as design build and stipulated price estimate submissions.
• Lead a team of Senior MEP and CSA estimators.

Is this the right role for you?

• Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in similar technical facility (data centers and pharmaceutical manufacturing) estimating and related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies, and techniques, and construction contracts required.
• Advanced knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
• Ability to work effectively and accurately in time sensitive and high pressure situations while managing a team to successful bid execution
• Excellent organizational, supervisory and decision making/problem solving skills essential.
• Excellent knowledge of construction take-off software and Microsoft office, scheduling techniques, labour productivity rates and material costs for pricing own estimates
