Could you be the full-time hybrid Material Planner in Mississauga, ON, CA we're looking for?


Your future role

The objective of the Material Planner is to administer Materials Requirements Planning to optimize inventory levels (Maximize Free Cash Flow) while improving customer OTD. The primary position activities include Material planning for kit production activities, create and manage production orders, coordination of Material Supply Agreements and master planning of purchased parts. The Material Planner will suggest ways to adjust inventory to balance supply and demand and maximize revenue.

We'll look to you for:

  • Monitor inventory and planning system to manage sales orders, purchase orders, sales/subcontract/production kits and long term contracts reporting to management via production schedule and inventory reports. ,

  • Create and manage production orders for kit production. ,

  • Plan and schedule components to ensure materials are available for kit production and delivery. ,

  • Maintain all masterdata (eg BOM, routing, etc) that is required for kit production. ,

  • Monitor inventory levels in order to keep inventory within budget.,

  • Run weekly KPI and inventory reports as well as special reports as required

  • College Diploma preferred,

  • 4 years of experience required,

  • Strong Planning and MRP skills,

  • Office environment,

  • Strong Computer Skills including MS office,

  • SAP required
