Today we have an opportunity for you to join us as a Sales Clerk at our Walker Environmental Administrative Office. This is a full-time role reporting to the Sales Manager, based on a 40-hour week.

As our new Sales Clerk, you will be part of our team in Niagara Falls. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Sales Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties, providing administrative and analytical support services to the Sales team and Business Development team. The Sales Clerk also prepares and dispatches invoices, enters data into the billing information database, produces associated reports, prepares marketing proposals and helps close the loop on all aspects of the sales cycle.

Skills
You will also provide a variety of job skills and duties to support site operations.


This includes:
• Support day-to-day administration of our customized software including data management and analysis, user administration, and solution implementation.
• Collaborate with Sales Department to improve software systems effectiveness.
• Oversees the delivery of contract execution, logistics and sales orders.
• Follows established procedures to compile and process customer-specific, standard and non-standard invoices.
• Liaises with sales and operations staff to collect and reconcile billing information.
• Investigates and responds to customer account inquiries to resolve customer disputes and avoid delays in collection of revenue.
• Documents non-standard invoicing procedures by liaising with appropriate staff.
• Creates various reports to assist the Sales Department and other business units as required.
• Organizes and maintain filing systems to ensure accurate customer information and easy retrieval of account information.
• General administrative support to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications
• Minimum post-secondary education - Business Administration or similar preferred.
• Previous Waste Management experience considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Above average competence with MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
