JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Water Resources.
Reporting to the Director Dam & Public Safety, this position is responsible to provide technical expertise, policy and products relating to the management of water and land resources including governing agreements and regulations, inflow forecasting, and water planning. Provide direction for the development and implementation of inflow forecasting models and systems, decision support systems, the scoping and execution climate change science studies (in support of Corporate Climate Change strategic objectives) and the development of complementary GIS applications to support on-going management and development of hydroelectric resources. Oversee hydrologic studies for existing generating stations or potential new sites, changes in Ontario's electricity market, dam safety studies and to support Indigenous Relation or for current operations and future adaptation requirements.
