Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will join the Municipal Infrastructure and Land Development group, based in the Ottawa office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Prepare preliminary and detailed CAD drawings associated with the Municipal Infrastructure and Land Development projects
  • Coordinate project drawings with designers, project managers, CAD staff, and others
  • Ensure that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner
  • Work under the direction of Senior Staff and mentor junior CAD staff working within the division

What your experience looks like

  • Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or Civil Technician with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment in Ontario
  • Strong computer software skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro station Word & Excel
  • Familiarity with various Municipal and regional design and drafting standards
  • Experience in preliminary and detailed design drawing preparation associated with Municipal Infrastructure Land Development projects
  • Independent, Organized, and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced turnaround environment
