We have 100+ years of cumulative hands-on experience in architecture, logic design, verification, physical design, emulation, and firmware. In this role you will assist in designing, implementing, and supporting next-generation SOC for a variety of research level projects. The work:
Your specific responsibilities will vary based on your alignment, but a typical day may include:  

  • Develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for verifying DSP blocks.

  • Build verification environment using SV/UVM methodology

  • Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards

  • Drive coverage driven verification closure

  • Regression triage.

  • Work with architects, designers, and post-silicon teams.

  • Working with cross functional teams (DV/Arch/Design/FW) to identify coverage scope

  • Develop own physical design implementation of multi hierarchy low power designs including physical aware logic synthesis, design for testability, static timing analysis, power analysis, IR Drop, EM, in advanced technology nodes

  • Resolve power issues related to physical design, identify potential low power solutions, drive execution and methodology improvements

  • Perform comprehensive power analysis in vector and vector-less modes of ASIC SoC design

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related programs

  • More than 6 months experience in ASIC and/or complex FPGA RTL design or design verification in the semiconductor industry

  • Experience with the following:

  • ASIC/SoC/FPGA RTL design and/or design verification in a team environment

  • Applying SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM or equivalent methodology

  • Using simulation tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor/Siemens Digital Systems and Circuits

  • Architecting verification environments using SV and other Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques

  • Developing test plan specification, random constrained driven test generation, assertion-based verification and functional coverage Quantum Mechanics for Engineers

  • Triage and root-cause debug capabilities

  • Any proficiency in C++, scripting languages including Python, Perl, Tcl, Make

  • ARM/RISC-V Architecture and AMBA AHB / APB / AXI bus protocols

  • High-speed I/O (e.g. Ethernet, PCle, USB, SATA, and/or SerDes)

  • VHDL, Verilog, Assembly, DDR, UPF / low-power methods, or mixed-signal verification experience

  • Any proficiency in Formal Verification

The work location for this role can include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients and partners or in our offices and delivery centers to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
