About the role
Leads the identification and qualification of opportunities, domestically and internationally for Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business in Canada. Develops and maintains a consultative relationship with customers and serves as a thought leader in military related opportunities. Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value and ensures the customer's requirements are understood. Develops capture strategies including business solutions and resources (personnel, financial, technical) for the pursuit of opportunities, identifies potential customers, conducts competitive assessments, and assesses Position-to-win(Pw).
The successful candidate will initiate and participate in bid and proposal activities and deliver executive-level presentations on new business opportunities, supporting capture teams in developing opportunity-specific win strategies as part of proposal development and capture execution. Has responsibility to lead and integrate into the assigned cross-functional team activities for the duration of a business pursuit. Serves as relationship manager with potential teammates and subcontractors. Represents Lockheed Martin at customer meetings, tradeshows, and conferences. Keeps informed about developments in the government, military, economic, scientific, political, industrial, and international fields as they apply to the organization's future business plans. Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their strategies, prices, and method of operation. Collects and maintains information on the requirements, organization, budget and preferences of customers and competitors. Organizes information to assist in analyzing future products and makes recommendations for the development of new products or services.
What you bring to the role
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 15 years or more of professional experience OR 10 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
