You as a Maintenance III / Maintenance Engineer will:

  • The Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance III repairs, installs, and maintains plumbing/mechanical equipment to provide water, drainage systems, heating, power, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning to the hospital.
  • Performs maintenance as per preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Repairs and maintains hospital equipment.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Mandatory Fourth Class Stationary Engineer or relevant trade equivalent.
  • Working ability in the trades of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and locksmith.
  • Must be willing to work evening and weekends.
  • 3 years H.V.A.C. plant experience
  • Experience with all aspects of plumbing and HVAC equipment, as well knowledge of fire alarm systems, water testing equipment, and dietary equipment would be beneficial.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the industry (hospital setting preferred) including DDC systems: troubleshooting, software operation, controls calibration, and experience with operating of the environmental, mechanical and electrical operational systems including (not limited to) heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, chilled water, refrigeration systems, back-up power (generator) systems, electrical lighting and distribution, and water.
  • Temp. FT -75 hours bi-weekly (Mon to Fri 7am to 3pm ) (Sat and Sun / weekend, evening, holiday and overnight work may be required, as needed) (

    (approx. 4 months).
