As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top-tier talent for Modern Niagara. You will use innovative sourcing techniques, networking strategies, and market insights to engage with passive candidates and build a pipeline. Your primary goal will be to ensure a steady stream of high-quality candidates to meet our high-volume hiring needs and contribute to our company's growth and success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, utilizing a variety of channels including social media, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
  • Proactively reach out to passive candidates and build relationships to understand their career aspirations and motivations. Engage candidates through personalized messaging and communication to generate interest in opportunities within our organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and talent market dynamics to inform sourcing strategies and maintain a competitive advantage in talent acquisition.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. Continuously nurture relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience and facilitate smooth transitions throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialists to understand position requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities. Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, candidate pipelines, and market insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sourcing processes and achieve recruitment goals.
  • Represent our organization positively and professionally in all interactions with candidates, promoting our employer brand and value proposition to attract top talent.
  • General support to the Talent Acquisition team including; Onboarding new employees, scheduling interviews, creating offer letters.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years proven experience in talent sourcing and recruitment in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media marketing and candidate outreach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with candidates effectively
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive sourcing strategies and decision-making.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
