Mechanical CAD Operator

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Use computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs,
• Create and revise production drawings,
• Adhere to company Drafting and Engineering Standards,
• Responsible for maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field,
• 3+ experience drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVAC & Plumbing emphasis),
• Knowledge of the ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems,
• The ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, to read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams,
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design software,
• Experience with Revit MEP is an asset,
• French communication skills are an asset.
