Seating is at the center of the consumer vehicle experience and our seating solutions are developed from consumer research, prioritizing comfort, convenience and connectivity.
Develop, implement and support efficient and capable manufacturing processes and associated systems, controls and procedures for all new or revised products within assigned areas of responsibility.
5 years prior Manufacturing Engineering experience or equivalent, preferably acquired in the automotive industry. Experience preferred in the areas of high volume assembly, fixture design, torque monitoring and control, PLC's and conveyor systems. University degree or College diploma in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Professional Engineering registration preferred. Team approach to problem solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven project and time management skills. Computer literate, including proficiency in AutoCad, Word, Project and Excel. Good knowledge of JIT, QMS, Process Flow, World Class Manufacturing, PFMEA and Continuous Improvement.
