Are you a Warehouse Technician who enjoys working in a warehouse that dedicated to heavy equipment? Are you someone who gets satisfaction from organization, accuracy and efficiency? Reporting to the Parts Manager, our Warehouse Technicians pick, ship, receive, and maintain inventory, warehouse and yard to provide accurate and timely service to internal and external customers. This position is based in Timmins, ON.

The shift rotation for this position is 5x2.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.19 - $30.08 per hour dependent upon experience. Additional premiums may be applicable.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the receiving, and shipping of all parts, part cores, and any service related shipping functions.
  • Responsible for the deliveries to the mines.
  • Maintain an updated listing for our current inventory, ensuring that bin locations are accurate.
  • Process all packing slips, and any related correspondence in accordance with our current operating policies.
  • Assist the parts counter personnel with the processing of any orders as required.
  • Maintain the parts department areas in good order; ensure that all areas are kept clean.
  • Forklift operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Additional requirements include:

  • Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety
  • Current forklift certification.
  • WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
