Director, DevSecOps and SRE will be a strategic member of the infrastructure and technology Team and will partner with other members to drive the strategic digital agenda for the company. Reporting to the VP, Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, this leader will be responsible for building and executing the strategy and vision for cloud, software defined infrastructure, zero-trust security and automated operations. This role will lead global infrastructure and application operations and will set our Cloud and Infrastructure strategy, and deliver all infrastructure services on time, on budget, and of maximum quality and meeting all SLAs. Drawing on advanced experience and skills with technology and governance, this leader will lead our technology through vital infrastructure and operational transformation, serve as a strategic thought leader overseeing infrastructure and outsourced managed services providers.

• Establish and execute DevSecOps strategy and vision across the Infrastructure and Applications area. Contribute to the Execution, design and Devops enabled deployment and SRE enabled Operations qof a multi-cloud infrastructure, including software defined scalable compute, storage, and network systems to support our move to cloud and API architecture

• Modernize the security focusing on Cloud, API, authentication and authorization and DLP technologies • Lead the workplace transformation to adopt to new ways of working and provide best in class experiences to our end users wherever they choose to work

• Transform Application operations and evolve to a DevSecOps model. Provide the infrastructure foundation for software defined cloud native development.

• Enable infrastructure innovation and seek to leverage latest trends that can create business value consistent with the company’s requirements and expectations, to include SaaS services for rapid service delivery and to minimize capital infrastructure investments.

• Will play technical leadership role in defining enterprise standards and technology architecture and the DevOps and Application Security in CICD Pipeline.

• Establish Site reliability engineering practices to support Zero down time, highly scalable, resilient infrastructure and applications. Implement Golden Signals, Blameless Postmortem, RCAs, Operational Excellence to drive fewer, shorter and less impactful incidents.

• Lead a consistent, measurable process to operationalize and scale critical initiatives with execution excellence

• Provide leadership and guidance in infrastructure management, network communications, application development and service management that enables the organization to meet its business objectives.
• Partner with a distributed team responsible for running a 24x7x365 Infrastructure and Applications Operations organization with staff located in multiple locations across the globe.

• Develops opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and removes organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery

• Partner with the Security team to ensure adherence to security and compliance safeguards, policies and procedures

• Establishes key performance indicators, SLA’s, Dora metrics and measurements demonstrating area health. Communicates through operational reviews. Measures and tracks against industry benchmarks and standards.

• Identify and implements critical metrics vital to manage and monitor the performance of overall operations including capacity, availability, budget, and inventory

• Work in a product / Agile team operating model. This is a high-profile, global position requiring a tried and experienced devops transformation skills, with expertise in cloud based platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems management, or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

• 10+ years of experience in an operational, management, or services delivery role in either high-tech or at a Cloud Service Provider with 3+ years in a Director level role

• Direct experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Microsoft and Office 365

• 5+ years of experience handling high\-volume customer\-facing SaaS PaaS IaaS applications is required

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, Non-functional requirements and validations.

• 5+ years of experience in automated functional, non-fuctional and API testing.

• SAP S4 ECC experience is desired.

• 5+ years of management experience and leadership skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience in 24x7x365 SRE and Devopos driven cloud operations or SaaS Operations

• Direct experience driving continuous improvements in process, cost and operational efficiencies.

• Lead process-improvement efforts and manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions. Drive standards across cross functional teams.

• Extensive knowledge managing outsourced service providers. • ERP experience with complex implementations. SAP S/4 experience is desired

• Has a passion for Security, Agile, and DevOps
• Extensive hands-on technical delivery leadership skills and stewardship of globally distributed engineering teams
• Client facing consulting experience up to the C-Level
• Ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams to deliver high quality products and solutions.
• A background in cloud Infrastructure Engineering/DevOps, deploying and maintaining multi-tiered application architectures.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms - ideally Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience with the core foundational services of cloud providers : IAM, S3, VPC, Compute, Storage, DNS and VPN, etc
• Hands on experience in Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) or OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, GCP or Azure, configuration management, Harness or Spinnaker or argoCD, Cloud Security, Jenkins or Azure DevOps or CircleCI
• CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, CodeBuild including integration of other commonly used DevOps tooling such as SonarQube, Nexus etc
• Hands on experience of one or more programming languages such as Python, Go and adherence to best practice principles around clean code and the impact of security and scale
• Experience in observability platforms such Elastic, New Relic and AppDynamics, etc
• Experience in integrating security testing tools such as Zaproxy, Coverity, CheckMarx, Veracode etc as part of the DevSecOps pipeline
• Understanding of common workflows such as Git Workflow etc
• Experience with integrating infrastructure test and compliance tools within automation pipelines
• Experience in adapting to open-source projects such as Istio, Envoy and service mesh technologies
• Understanding of cloud migration approaches (6 R framework) and experience in migrating the workloads to public cloud.

• Ability to quickly drill down to solve problems and take ownership of the resolution

• Hands-on technical and operational depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex
• infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting
• Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant,
• highly-available server and network architectures
• Passion for adoption / learning new technologies like data, AI-ML, Robotics,DevSecOps, IOT Architecture, generative AI and Blockchain.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, Observability and Security operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align infrastructure operations with broader business objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, networking, cloud technologies, and data center management.
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency and process improvements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Project management expertise and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• Ability to inspire and engage a diverse workforce to effectively meet current and future organizational requirements.
• Experience building, empowering, motivating, and inspiring high-performing data and engineering teams and instilling a culture of creativity, accountability, and productivity.
• Strong technology leadership across diverse global corporate and executive information technology systems.
