We are currently looking to hire a DZ flatbed Truck Driver w/boom (HIAB) to join our Vaughan Office. Within this position, we are looking for dependable individual who is highly motivated and energetic.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Using HIAB to deliver construction tools, equipment, prefab (Plumbing, heating and sheet metal)
  • Up to 5/7 stops per day to major construction sites including hospital, schools etc.
  • Pick up of construction tools and equipment and return to warehouse
  • Removal of construction debris from sites
  • Load and unload tool trucks
  • Pick tool/equipment orders and stage for shipping
  • Receive, unpack, and inventory incoming tools and equipment, inspect items for defects and store back in inventory
  • May perform other duties as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Valid class DZ license - ideally a minimum of 3 years and clean driver abstract
  • Experience driving a Flatbed w/boom (HIAB)
  • Ability to lift & push heavy objects (approx. 50-100 lbs.)
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Available to work between the hours of 6:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Willingness to learn
  • Hard-working individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within this position
  • Safety conscience individual who respects and adheres to all safety measures
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, as required

Own Tools/Equipment:

  • Steel-toed safety boots
