At Modern Niagara, we value passion, initiative, determination, professionalism, and teamwork and we are committed to ensuring that our teams have everything they need to succeed. Health and safety are embedded in everything we do and, as a result, our award-winning safety culture has a record that's well above industry standards. Modern Niagara is one of Canada's Best Managed Companies and is a recipient of SMACNA's Safety Excellence Award Program (SSEAP) - Canada and the Canadian Occupational Safety (COS) Magazine's Canada's Best Health + Safety Culture Award and Canada's Safest Employers Award in the Building and Construction category.

We currently have opportunities for a IBT Design and Estimating co-op for talented and creative students to be part of our team and share our values and passion. We are looking for motivated, multi-faceted technically inclined students who enjoy working on a wide variety of tasks, are quick to learn, and are keen to make a significant contribution to a successful and growing company.

The Integrated Building Technology (IBT) team helps clients design, deploy, integrate, maintain and operate all the technology needed to automate building systems, from HVAC to lighting to IT and OT networks. We are product agnostic, which means we select solutions based on what's best suited to the building's unique requirements. Our goal is to make building controls as simple, streamlined and future-ready as possible — so clients can keep costs down and take advantage of emerging innovations like the Internet of Things (IoT) and data analytics while providing a seamless occupant and operator experience.
