The Automation and Robotics team is looking for a dynamic person who is focused on teamwork as a technology and digital transformation specialist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programming of PLC and HMI for new equipment and existing equipment;
Establish communication between equipment and databases (MQTT/SQL);
Establish, maintain and operate databases (SQL) to cumulate machine information;
Create algorithms and/or software to extract information from production data;
Develop communication of results via PowerBI (production status, performance);
Implementation of test beds and/or proof of concept;
Ensure the implementation and/or deployment of new technologies in the plant;
Participate in the development of automation strategies and digital transformations;
Propose improvements to existing equipment and/or incorporate new technologies;
Perform preliminary projections for cost savings measures and track benefits/gains of deployed technologies;
Conduct various research, studies and analyses to develop solutions in partnership with internal and external expertise;
Provide technical direction for work performed by collaborators;


PROFILE SOUGHT:

Functional qualifications and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in automation, computer science or software development
Understanding of industrial manufacturing mechanisms and processes;
Be self-taught, persevering, autonomous and rigorous;
Excellent ability to apply theory in an industrial production setting;
Be concerned about the organization of your workspace;
Fluency in French and English.


Technical skills

Mastery of industrial automation concepts
Knowledge of basic theories, principles and concepts related to information technologies;
Knowledge of JAVA, C++, C, Python, Web programming languages;
Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels;
Ability to manage priorities well;
Have a strong logical and realistic sense;
