Description


You'll be part of our industrial mechanics team working in the mining and related heavy industries. You'll be exposed to various situations to develop your technical skills in material handling, dust control, maintenance, pumping, structures, machine safety and industrial ventilation. You'll have the chance to work on various projects under the supervision of more experienced engineers.


By joining our team, you'll be required to:

  • Perform in-plant technical information surveys.
  • Coordinate the work of drafters or other colleagues.
  • Perform detailed calculations.
  • Perform technical studies and prepare technical reports.
  • Prepare plans and specifications from guidelines for mechanical mandates.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work and commissioning of the designed systems.
  • Ease into multidisciplinary project management.
  • Participate in onsite technical audits.
  • Assist experienced staff with the technical aspects of more complex tasks.
  • Write documents in accordance with our corporate quality system requirements.
  • Prepare proposals.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong skills in communication and writing reports
  • Available for short-term work assignments at client sites
  • Good communicate skills in French both oral and written
  • Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
  • Asset: ASP Construction card
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French)
