The work:
Providing domain expertise and contributing to complex projects
Requirements gathering, specifications creation, and solution design, collaborating closely with solution architects to develop innovative solutions.
Participation in specification workshops, bringing valuable insights and contributing to the overall success of the project.
Developing functional specifications and actively participating in the design and implementation of business processes across various applications.
Coaching workstream team(s) and supporting the management team in different project areas, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex configuration and system issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the project. Documenting and following up on customer issues for timely and satisfactory resolution.
Preparing and supporting organizational change management activities, including the development of training plans and documentation, as well as providing comprehensive training to end users.
Documenting the configuration and architecture of the project, ensuring that the information is readily accessible and comprehensible to all team members.
Conducting validation tests, including the preparation of test cases/scenarios and test data, to ensure the functionality and integration of the solution. Reporting progress status and highlighting any issues that arise.
Performing feasibility studies and process design reviews, contributing expertise and insights to the overall success of the projects.
Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT systems (Engineering/Manufacturing), and experience with 3DEXPERIENCE or others Dassault Systèmes products.
Bilingual in English and French
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus points if:
Familiarity with Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering concepts and solutions.
Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and solutions.
Experience in Business Process Design.
Experience in managing and executing tests.
Ability to understand business needs, communicate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with diverse teams.
Proficient in multitasking, status communication, issue escalation, and managing competing priorities.
You have experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry
