About the role

  • Purchase material and services in accordance with established corporate guidelines and acquisition procedures. Assist with the development of sources of supply for material and services
  • Solicit quotations, analyse bids, evaluate suppliers, prepare purchase and repair orders and prepare compliance folders
  • Manage the parts that require outsourcing and ensure service levels and pricing is met
  • Liaise with several departments including production, engineering and finance for supply chain requirement
  • Ensure daily administration of quality related matters with vendors including processing returns, invoice snags and vendor performance
  • Provide administrative support to Operations groups for production and repair related matters requiring coordination such as material requisitions, production kit verifications and similar related tasks.

What you bring to the role

  • DEP or DEC from accredited school
  • Experience in supply chain and/or purchasing
  • Bilingual is a must
  • A proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office and the ability to analyse and action various lists of data
  • Capable to handle several tasks, and requests coming from several different departments
  • Must have skills experience for the function in which employed and possess the ability to carry out any work functions as described within Appendix A of the CBA
  • Progression to Administrative Production shall be done based on requirements outlined in Appendix A of the CBA and an associated requisition.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Experience in Aviation, specifically in engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), an asset
  • Quantum knowledge an asset.
