About the role

Program Finance Responsibilities:

  • Analyze performance and work with program teams to generate Estimates at Complete (EACs) for future work on existing contracts
  • Develop and execute with program teams action plans to maximize profitability as a business partner
  • Collaborate with program teams and supporting functions (operations, supply chain, etc) to generate and monitor metrics related to key drivers of program profitability.
Pricing Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) responses with departments throughout the business (Business Development (BD), Operations, Engineering, Project Management (PM), Contracts, Executive Management, etc) to ensure they are coordinated and executable
  • Work with departments to develop pricing strategies to meet Positions to Win (PTWs) but also ensure that the proposals are executable
  • Support BD team in coordinating and reviewing inputs to RFP in a fast paced environment to ensure they are thorough, compliant, and accurate.
General:
  • Develop thoughtful analysis and present findings to executive management for both proposals and monthly / quarterly financial reviews
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel financial models and be able to use technology to sift through a large amount of disparate data to determine trends and generate conclusions.

What you bring to the role

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, with 4 to 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related master's degree
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results for insights
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented, proposal environment
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills and are results-oriented.

Additional skills desired for the role

Desired Skills:

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or other business-related graduate degree
  • Familiarity with any of the following is a major plus:
  • Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business
  • SAP and/or Quantum Component Control software
  • Tableau and/or Alteryx experience
  • Experience in these areas is desirable:
  • Financial analysis
  • Proposal or pricing
  • Data analysis through use of Excel models
  • Multi-tasking and meeting deadlines, in a fast paced, team environment.
