Job Summary

As a Portfolio Manager in the field of Information and Technology (I&T) you will be responsible to development, implement and governance of processes related to the Technology, Enterprise Architecture & Data (TED) portfolios You will be responsible to manage the capital and operating budget in relation to project demands and other operational needs.

Main Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

§ Responsible for the governance and processes of the financial management of the capital and operating budgets for the Technology, Enterprise Architecture & Data (TED) portfolios

§ Ensure alignment of the TED capital plan with roadmaps and technology strategies within other departments in I&T

§ Manage demands and priorities of TED projects / initiatives

§ Report on the progress and portfolio health within the TED portfolio

§ Define the scope and value of TED initiatives as well as the business case

§ Maintain a tool set to ensure a centralized repository of all TED project demands

Education

§ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Skills/Knowledge

§ Knowledge of portfolio, demand and financial management concepts

§ Ability to apply critical thinking to the planning and evolution of the portfolio

§ Knowledge of IT infrastructure, network concepts, computers, and mobile devices

§ Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

§ Strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately; provide a superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.

§ Bilingual with strong written and verbal communication skills

§ Knowledge of tools and techniques (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experience

§ Minimum 5 years Information and Technology experience

§ Railway knowledge

This position is posted as a grade LEVEL 7. For internal candidates, note that the grade level of the position may adjust based on the employee's experience.
