Logistics Project Manager, UAP

The department of projects and logistic innovations of UAP, is looking for a Project Manager. In this capacity and under the authority of the Head of Department, you will be in charge of the delivery of major logistics projects (modernization, technologies, processes) for our warehouses and stores of our two divisions.

To this end, you will be both involved in and accountable for all project phases from start-up to delivery. You will also have to intervene and collaborate with end users, IT and service providers. We are looking for a person with expertise in a distribution environment, either in continuous improvement project management or in systems implementation.

Requirements :

  • BAC in Operations Management, or other relevant field;
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant distribution experience in the delivery of logistics projects and implementations;
  • Very good knowledge of warehouse systems among others:
    Warehouse Management System, Labour Management, Slotting Optimization, Voice Picking;
  • Creation of new projects/business plans
  • Know different project planning tools;
  • PMP certification (major asset);
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite (especially Excel and Word, knowledge of Access is an asset);
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (an asset);
  • Bilingualism, oral and written;
  • Willingness to travel the equivalent of one week per month;
  • Available on call on a rotational basis.
