Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. POSITION OVERVIEW

Purchasing of aircraft parts and inventory control.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aircraft parts procurement;
  • Validating order requirements;
  • Tracking orders;
  • Inventory, shelf life control;
  • Communicate with Suppliers for follow up of repairs;
  • Verify proper certification is provided with part from supplier;
  • Arrange for the loan of parts from other operators, verify certification and track parts for prompt return;
  • Updating database as required;
  • Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have worked with aviation materials control for a period of at least two years
  • To work co-operatively as a primary contributor in a team setting;
  • Ability to show initiative, innovation and a good sense of organization;
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Preference will be given to the candidate with previous purchasing experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC)

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Work location - Air Inuit Technical Center - Montreal-Trudeau airport;
  • 37.5 hrs per week (Modified work weeks are offered to help our employees balance their work/home life)

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
  • Hourly wage starting at $23.96
