Your future role on our team

  • Carry out engineering projects based on the IEC 61850 – Digital Power Systems standard.
  • Serve in various roles, including project leader and proposal leader.
  • Design protection diagrams (logic and control diagrams).
  • Design the architecture and configuration of substation HMI/SCADA.
  • Configure smart electronic devices (relays, substations controllers, etc.).
  • Conduct testing in the BBA digital power systems lab.
  • Commission digital power systems.
  • Perform onsite testing.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • University degree in engineering;
  • Available to travel across our BBA offices throughout Canada;
  • Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites in Canada;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Knowledge of electrical substation technologies;
  • Knowledge of protection relay configuration;
  • Asset: knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard;
  • Asset: knowledge of HMI/SCADA system configuration;
  • Asset: knowledge of protection relay test equipment;
  • Asset: graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
