Our new office in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean is expanding, and we're looking for a talented electrical engineer with three to five years of experience to join our Power System Design team. While working at this dynamic office, you'll be supported by experts from the larger offices while enjoying a peaceful and pleasant work environment. You'll be working on projects both locally and across Quebec and Canada.

We train and support our engineers so they can excel and be among the best in Canada. You'll be able to work closely with other team members to design and develop innovative and high-quality power systems. We're looking for a motivated and passionate electrical engineer to help with our success.

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

With us, you'll get the opportunity to

  • Perform load studies and system analyses to ensure power systems are designed to meet client and end-user needs.
  • Design and draft specifications for electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, distribution panels and electrical cables.
  • Perform short-circuit current, coordination protection and selectivity calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Coordinate with project team members and clients to ensure requirements are met.
  • Under the supervision of senior engineers, perform tests and trials on electrical equipment to ensure it's working properly.

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • An understanding of applicable standards and electrical codes
  • Adept at working on a team and communicating effectively with team members and clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under the supervision of senior engineers
