Cvt & Transmission Engineer

We are looking for an engineer reporting to the CVT Engineering Manager to develop new technologies and optimize our current transmissions. Your contribution will be instrumental in our mission to reduce the CO2 footprint of our entire fleet of vehicles while maintaining and/or enhancing the character and dynamism for which all BRP motorized products are known.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

• Participate, within multidisciplinary teams, in the development of new power transmission concepts for recreational vehicles.
• Develop performance components and ensure their follow-up within vehicle projects.
• Collaborate in project management with engine and product engineers
• Define, measure, improve and validate BRP vehicle performance indices
• Evaluate, analyze and test various vehicle types and technologies in motorized vehicle markets.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor's degree or engineering diploma in mechanical engineering, robotics or mechatronics
• Relevant experience in product and systems development
• Willingness to broaden your knowledge of motor vehicles and power transmission principles
• Be on the lookout for new technologies in the field of motorized vehicles;
• Be dynamic, motivated and ready to take on new and stimulating challenges;
• English is required to communicate with our non-French-speaking international partners involved in the development and manufacture of systems and components.
