YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of roller dynamometer tests
    (e.g. emission, acoustics, durability, heat management, engine calibration).
  • Manage the calibration and correct operation of emission measurement equipment and its peripheral elements,
    (including tracking and documentation of certificates in the appropriate databases).
  • Manage the procurement strategy (supplier relations, parts and components required for the proper operation of test equipment).
  • Assist the certification, calibration, engineering and workshop teams.
  • Develop expertise and knowledge of emission measurement techniques (raw, CVS, PEMS), as well as emission machines/tools/racks.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A technical diploma or DCS or experience in electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering.
  • Comfortable working in a computerized environment.
  • The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or in English on a daily basis, and read technical and regulatory document that is unavailable in French.
  • Basic electrical/electronic knowledge would be an asset.
  • An understanding of the basic principles of internal combustion engine functions.
  • An interest in motorsports and internal combustion engines.
