YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

As a member of the Electrical Vehicle Power Unit Integration team, your main mandate will be to support the development of different system components during the prototyping phase to mass production.

  • Lead some control system's projects related to EV Power Unit (Inverter and motor, Charger, Battery, etc.) to respect deadlines and good performances for Recreational vehicles.
  • Develop specific technical solutions considering controls system Architecture.
  • Establish controls requirements to ensure system robustness, high quality and reliability of prototype and series production components.
  • Develop and execute reliability testing procedures during development on electrical bench test, Dynos and Prototypes vehicles.
  • Collaborate with electrical technician, suppliers, and internal departments in the development of EV components.
  • Support the design, production, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams.
  • Insure development of components diagnostics, fault detection and vehicle reaction

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • You have a mind for innovation and EV awareness.
  • You are rigorous and well organized.
  • You can work in a project start-up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined.
  • You detain a bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics engineering, mechatronics or demonstrate exceptional skill in the relevant fields.
  • You have experience in controls architecture (motoring, power delivery, charging technologies, Battery Management Systems)
  • You have good knowledge of CAN communication protocols.
  • You have experience in product development cycle, from prototyping to production.
  • You will be comfortable in an environment where technical solutions are not known, where the path is not traced and with the use of predictive analysis methods.
  • You master French and English (written and spoken) as you will have to communicate with stakeholders based in Quebec and outside of Quebec or monolingual English speaker on a daily basis;
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
