Manufacturing NPD Process Engineer

We are looking for a NPD (new products development) Manufacturing Process Engineer. Working with the ME COE, and reporting to the Manufacturing Development Business Process Manager (GLP), the NDP Manufacturing and Validation Process Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving their area of expertise.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Participate in and shape the GLP vision for your area.
• Implement the transformation vision of your area.
• Develop your sector in 4 areas: process, people, tool (PLM) and data.
• Suggest and ensure the implementation of identified strategies to achieve the improvement objectives of your area.
• Be responsible for the planning and roll-out of transformations in your area.
• Be responsible for material content related to your area to ensure the vision is achieved.
• Monitor trends and developments in your field.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• College or university studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years experience in the field.
• English is essential both written and spoken - other languages (Spanish, French) would be an asset.
• Solid business process improvement skills.
• Excellent knowledge of product and manufacturing development processes (NPD).
• Good knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Catia, Smarteam and SAP.
• Good synthesis, communication and networking skills.
• Very good influencing skills and a team player.
• Open to other cultures (Mexico).
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Position located in Valcourt with hybrid or remote working.
