Mechanical Designer Technician Ssv

We're looking for a mechanical designer for our VCC engineering team. Reporting to the VCC Team Leader, Vehicle Engineering, you'll have a major impact on the design, development and validation of various mechanical systems for recreational vehicles.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Creating the technical drawings needed for the manufacture of new vehicles;
• Participating in the development of components and ensuring prototype production monitoring;
• Collaborating with the team's designers and engineers in the problem-solving process;
• Creating tracking files to optimize project advancement.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• You have a DCS or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• You have experience in 3D modeling and surface design;
• You have a keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization;
• You know how to use software, such as Catia V5 or SolidWorks;
• You know the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards;
• You find creative solutions to the problems you encounter;
• You are known for being innovative.
• You are a fan of BRP's recreational products.
