Structure and Chassis Engineer, Can-am On Road

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Participate in defining the product architecture and enhancing component integration
• Develop structural elements from the concept phase to production and support the products through continuous improvement.
• Participate in establishing performance criteria, draw up validation plans and ensure test execution.
• Conduct studies, analyses and calculations to guide engineers, design technicians and project developers in their work using general and specific technical parameters.
• Participate in dynamic evaluations during vehicle development and improve vehicle systems with corrective actions.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Ability to work in a project start-up environment with objectives in the process of being defined;
• Skilled at working in a multidisciplinary environment;
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in product architecture, with a full development cycle from prototype to production phases;
• Bilingual French and English in both verbal and written communication.
• Good knowledge of the principles of operation and construction of the various mechanical systems of a motor vehicle, as well as a strong interest in these vehicles;
• Good understanding of the mechanical principles, tolerances and resistance of materials;
• Mastery of stress calculation tools, test data processing and life prediction.
• Able to provide innovative solutions while optimizing the reliability and cost of their systems.
