Technician in Electrical Design

We are looking for a Technician in Electrical Design who will report to the Service and validation EV Manager.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Work with designers and engineers to design new parts, systems and vehicles.
• Support the workshop in the assembly of prototype vehicles.
• Closely monitor the development of prototype parts under your responsibility.
• Analyze technical problems, define and propose the appropriate corrective actions.
• Knowledge transfer to other BRP teams (service, production, etc.).
• Analyze and prepare preliminary reports on test data.
• Participate in investigative trials and propose recommendations.
• Support the engineering team.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• A Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in electronics/electrics or equivalent.
• Specific knowledge of electrical systems design.
• You're resourceful and self-reliant.
• You're known for your optimism and adaptability.
• An ability to find creative solutions to problems you encounter.
• Excellent collaboration skills and are an exceptional team player.
• A passion for BRP recreational products.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• A technical college diploma (DEC) in electrical or electrotechnical engineering.
• Good knowledge and skills in electrical engineering, electromechanics, electrical circuit design and wired logic.
• Comfortable working in an environment where the technical solutions are unknown, and where the path forward is not clearly marked.
• Autonomous, responsible, resourceful and a good team player.
