Reporting to the Plant Manager as a member of the mill’s senior leadership team, our Maintenance Managers engage their teams, keep employees safe and ensure our operations are running smoothly. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Meadow Lake OSB Division, located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Meadow Lake employs 155 employees and safely and sustainably produces 730 million square feet of OSB every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • University degree/technical diploma or Journeyperson trades certification in a relevant field.
  • Management experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing.
  • Experience with maintenance planning, condition monitoring, shutdown execution and implementing reliability programs.
  • Experience with project management, including capital projects.
  • Experience maintaining a large maintenance budget.
  • Proven ability to manage change.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in OSB manufacturing, an asset.


In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and organizing maintenance activities.
  • Build relationships internally across all employee groups at the mill.
  • Analyze all aspects of your department’s performance and pro-actively identify and implement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage third party vendors.
  • Partner with the production and project teams to deliver results.
