What Will You Work On?
-Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
-Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
-Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move the load to destination
-Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
-Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap trucks, or barrels
-Install vapour barriers and/or layers of insulation
-Work at heights while following safety protocols
-Assist Journeymen with installation on various projects
What We Are Seeking
-Experience in a construction environment is considered an asset
-Ability to work and communicate with others
-Ability to work at heights
-Ability to learn and obey our extensive company safety policy
-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
