Automotive Technician / Engineer for Smart Security System Installation Gazer is a global security system provider. We unite people and technology into a collective security network. Our devices are not just hardware — they are part of a new reality where every car is a node in the network. The Gazer security system makes crime extremely risky and punishment inevitable. The Role We're looking for a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team in Ontario. You'll become a key expert in the professional installation of our advanced smart security systems – S5 and P8 — across various vehicle makes and models, while also training installer partners and supporting test installations. Key Responsibilities Perform professional and precise installation of Gazer's S5 and P8 smart security systems Work confidently with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems during integration and diagnostics Read and work from wiring diagrams and connection schematics Disassemble and reassemble vehicle interior trim/panels as needed for clean, professional installs Ensure high-quality wiring and integration with existing vehicle electronic systems Receive full hands-on training to master Gazer's proprietary technology Train installer partners on correct installation procedures and best practices Conduct test installations and provide technical support and quality checks on installed units Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician Practical understanding of and hands-on experience with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems — non-negotiable Experience installing aftermarket security, alarm, or telematics systems Comfortable working from wiring/connection diagrams Experience disassembling vehicle interiors (panels, trim) for installation work Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools Ability to learn quickly and work with new AI-integrated technologies High attention to detail and a responsible work ethic Valid driver's license and own vehicle required — you'll be traveling across the region for installations and partner training; fuel costs covered by the company Basic auto electrical hand tools preferred What We Offer Flexible, field-based working format Specialized training in a rapidly growing automotive tech segment Fuel costs covered for regional travel Opportunity to work with an international, innovative brand
