Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Administrator

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Administrator to join our fabrication shop team. This full-time, permanent day-shift role supports quality systems, documentation control, and project compliance across multiple internal teams. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a quality department, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build relationships and collaborate with QC, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and shop teams
Create, maintain, and organize project folders for controlled documents and quality records
Prepare and distribute turnover documentation to internal stakeholders
Enter, review, and update quality data in systems and track project documentation
Support QA/QC metrics development and reporting
Assist with training on quality procedures, systems, and documentation practices
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, meeting coordination, agendas, minutes, and supply tracking

Qualifications / Requirements:

Post-secondary education in a related field
Previous experience in a Quality department is an asset
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, and Adobe PDF
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across all organizational levels
Effective time management and ability to multitask in a structured environment
Own transportation required (site not accessible by public transit)
CSA-approved steel-toed boots required
