Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This is a mobile position, requiring the mechanic to travel to various work sites to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on trucks and heavy duty equipment. A fully equipped service vehicle and tools will be provided to support you in completing your work efficiently and safely. *Pay based on experience*

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain semi-trucks and heavy-duty equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to service calls and complete repairs on-site in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and services completed.
• Operate service truck and manage tools, equipment, and inventory.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience with semi trucks and heavy equipment repair
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding repair work in field conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
