What you will be doing:As a Cabinet Maker, you'll be involved in all aspects of custom millwork production, including, but not limited to: Reading and interpreting shop drawings and production plans Building custom cabinetry and architectural millwork Cutting, machining, assembling and finishing cabinet components Installing hardware including drawer slides, hinges, organizers and specialty components Ensuring finished products meet Oakstone's quality standards Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment Problem solving and suggesting improvements when challenges arise Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including, but not limited to: Table saw Edge bander CNC equipment (experience considered an asset) Drill press Router Sanders What we are looking forThe ideal candidate will have: 4 + years of cabinet making or custom millwork experience Strong understanding of woodworking techniques Ability to read shop drawings independently Experience with laminate, veneer, hardwood and melamine products Excellent attention to detail Pride in producing high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong organizational and time management skills Reliable transportation Bonus SkillsExperience with: CNC programming or operation Mozaik AutoCAD Installation experience Commercial Millwork Solid Surface Fabrication What Success Looks LikeYou're someone who: Takes ownership of your work Cares about craftsmanship Shows up on time Works efficiently without sacrificing quality Enjoys learning new techniques Treats every project as if it were going into your own home Why Join Oakstone?We're building more than cabinetry; we're building a company people are proud to work for.You'll enjoy: Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, full-time employment Monday–Friday schedule Opportunity for overtime Modern equipment and quality materials Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth as the company expands Diverse custom projects that keep every week interesting A workplace where craftsmanship is recognized and appreciated Compensation$25 - $32 per hourCompensation will be based on experience, skill level and overall fit.
